2020 Summer Field
Registration will open April 6th @ 6pm and will close April 21st @ 7pm. Follow the registration link above. Make sure your US Lacrosse membership number is valid through August 8th prior to registering.
8U is $100 per player plus $100 non volunteer fee. Full payment required at registration.
10U is $225 per player plus $100 non volunteer fee. Option to pay in full or to split payment with $162.50 due at the time of registration and the remaining $162.50 due on May 15th.
12u/14u is $350 per player plus $100 non volunteer fee. Option to pay in full at registration or split payment with $225 due at registration and the remaining $225 due on May 15th.
**There will be volunteer options available to sign up for to receive a refund on the $100 volunteer fee. These volunteer options will come out closer to the season. Things you may volunteer for may include things such as: coach, assistant coach, team manager, jersey coordinator, photo coordinator, planning the association picnic..... There is also a volunteer link above which is where you will sign up for these volunteer options once they are released.

Tryouts for 12U & 14U:
April 25th- location & time TBD. If you would like to play on the A team at either of these levels, tryouts are manatory. If you do not care to be on the A team tryouts are optional.
Team Rosters will be posted on the website by April 27th.
May- practices begin outdoors when fields dry out around the Hudson area.
*8u will practice 2x a week for one hour
*10u will practice 2x a week for one hour
*12u will practice 3x a week for 1.5 hours
*14u will practice 3x a week for 1.5 hours
Game schedules come out out thru YLM and are scheduled to come out May 18th. However, it is not uncommon it to come later than this.
June 1st - July 30th- Regular season games are held during the week. Game locations are around Hudson and Twin cities.
10U-14U teams kick off the game season with the Viking Goat Tournament which is to be May 30-31, 2020 .
All youth teams will also participate in Woodbury's Black & Blue Tournament which typically falls the weekend after July 4th weekend.
8U and 10U participate in a jamboree on July 18-19th.
12U-14U participate in the state (MN) tournament which takes place either the last weekend in July or the first weekend in August.
The head referee and coaches will keep an eye on any weather that may develop on the day of a game and will communicate with one another if there is a need to cancel a scheduled game.
If weather develops near the time of a scheduled game, players are to report to the game field and wait for the head referee to make a call as to whether they will play, postpone or cancel the game.
If there is lightening, all teams must leave the field area and take shelter. Play can not resume until 30 minutes with no additional lightening/thunder have passed.

Practices - The board will decide if a practice needs to be cancelled due to weather or poor field conditions.
Games - Generally officials make the call after we are on the field. If there is obvious weather coming we can cancel after all teams and ref's have been contacted.
